Opportunity Overview We have an immediate opening for a Embryologist to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Rockville, Maryland. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with weekend and holiday rotations Compensation: $60K + annually (commensurate with experience) This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day. In this role, the Embryologist will: Demonstrated proficiency in all technical areas of the laboratory services and procedures: Identification, assessment and culture of oocytes Sperm preparation and insemination of oocytes Embryo culture Assessment and selection of embryos for transfer Embryo Vitrification, storage and warming Media preparation Oocyte Vitrification, storage and warming Recording and reporting laboratory results TBSA, PESA, TESA, TESE collection Oocyte denuding & ICSI insemination PGD biopsy (optional) Achieve level of proficiency in all areas of the lab that allow for multitasking, training of junior staffers, and high productivity Must be certified to work independently in the following laboratory processes and procedures: Preparation and care of gametes/embryos throughout the laboratory process: IVF, ICSI, VIT, ET, Thaw, PGD. Diagnostic TBSA and preparations for ICSI OR procedures including retrievals, Urology sperm collections, and embryo transfer Accurate entry of data and able to extract and interpret data Embryo discard/storage, including paperwork and follow-up Donor sperm/embryo tracking under FDA regulations Must develop competency in more complex reproductive technologies, i.e. ICSI, PGD, and oocytes VIT. Requirements

Minimum 5 years clinical/medical laboratory experience, preferably in Embryology.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant laboratory science; Master’s degree preferred.
Must demonstrate the ability to function effectively without direct supervision, and to perform laboratory services in accord with the Laboratory Philosophy and Operating Standards.
Proven ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
Knowledge of office procedures and office machines
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to work in a high standard, stressful environment.
Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
