About The Position

The Professional Services Consultant delivers end-to-end Asset Finance solutions by combining technical expertise, functional consulting, and solution design. The role partners directly with clients, leads technical workstreams, and contributes to the overall solution architecture. It involves designing and implementing system configurations, integrations, APIs, extensions, and data models; guiding data migration and cutover; and translating client needs into functional and technical designs. The consultant serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, advises on solution options and best practices, supports delivery governance, and mentors junior consultants. The role may require working different time-zone shifts to overlap with client working hours.

Requirements

Strong technical background and expertise in Asset Finance systems.
Advanced SQL, data modeling, ETL migration, and interface development experience.
Deep knowledge of asset finance domains, including Assets & Residual Value Management, asset finance accounting fundamentals, auto-leasing and equipment finance concepts, hire purchase and loan structures, in-life contract servicing, and the quote-to-contract lifecycle.
Proven experience designing integrations using APIs, XML, and web services.
Strong functional understanding of business workflows and finance operations.
Excellent communication, documentation, and client-facing consulting skills.
May need to work shifts in different time zones to overlap with client working hours.
1–12 years of experience.

Experience leading consulting or professional services delivery.
Background in solution architecture or technical design authority.
Exposure to cloud deployment, security models, or microservices.
Familiarity with Agile methodology and enterprise delivery frameworks.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement advanced system configurations for Asset Finance solutions.
Design and develop complex integrations, APIs, extensions, and data models.
Lead technical troubleshooting, performance optimization, and environmental readiness.
Oversee data migration approach, validation strategy, and cutover execution.
Lead client requirement-gathering workshops and translate needs into functional and technical designs.
Define solution scope, system architecture, and configuration strategy.
Bridge business stakeholders and technical teams.
Validate business processes such as quote-to-contract, in-life servicing, and accounting flows.
Provide guidance on best practices, domain standards, and product capabilities.
Support project managers in planning, risk management, and solution delivery governance.
Recommend approaches that balance configuration with customization.
Identify gaps, develop solution options, and present impact assessments to clients.
Contribute to design authority discussions and ensure solution alignment.
Mentor junior consultants on functional and technical topics.
