About The Position

Join Millennium Print Group as a Rigger! We're looking for an experienced Industrial Rigger to join our manufacturing team in Morrisville, NC. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Typically, 2–5 years of industrial rigging experience, preferably in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of machinery moving, equipment installation, and industrial rigging techniques.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe lifting practices.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, climb, crawl, bend, and work 12-hour shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Safely move, install, relocate, and align industrial printing and packaging equipment.
  • Read blueprints and technical drawings to plan rigging activities and equipment placement.
  • Operate rigging equipment including forklifts, hydraulic jacks, dollies, beams, pulleys, clamps, and lifting devices.
  • Inspect loads and ensure machinery is properly secured before movement.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues during equipment installation and relocation.
  • Work with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to minimize downtime.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment during all rigging activities.
