About The Position
Cherry Bekaert is seeking a highly motivated Audit Professional Practices Manager for its growing Professional Practices team. This role is integral to leading various projects and supporting strategic initiatives within the team and the assurance service line. The Professional Practices team provides end-to-end support to the assurance service line on audit methodology, quality control, integration of acquired firms, audit process and innovation, and technical accounting. This highly visible position offers excellent training, development, and professional growth, with significant interaction with audit teams across various commercial industries.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA certified
- Active CPA license
- Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Appreciation of audit quality and standards
- Demonstrated eligibility to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Experience navigating firm acquisitions is a plus
Responsibilities
