About The Position

RCO Pet Care is seeking a reliable and dedicated morning person to join their growing team. This role focuses on providing essential pet care services during the crucial morning hours (7:00 AM - 10:00 AM), ensuring pets are fed, exercised, and clients are updated. The ideal candidate genuinely loves animals, understands the responsibility of professional pet care, can follow detailed instructions, and can handle various pet personalities and situations. This is a part-time W2 employee position with opportunities for more hours based on additional availability.

Requirements

• Consistent AM availability starting at 7:00 AM (or earlier) through at least 10:00 AM, most weekdays.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to consistently service clients in Oxford, Southbury, Seymour, and nearby towns.
• Trustworthy, communicative, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working independently.

• Love sending photo updates.
• Ability to handle both large and small animals.
• Highly detail-oriented and conscientious.

Responsibilities

• Provide pet care services during the 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM window.
• Feed pets and ensure they have opportunities to relieve themselves.
• Follow detailed client instructions.
• Send photo updates of pets to clients.
• Travel between client homes in Oxford, Southbury, Seymour, and nearby towns.
• Work independently while being part of a supportive team.
