This position is responsible for leading and delivering production-grade machine learning (ML) software products from end-to-end to ensure that Samsung Ads is a key player in the mobile ads market. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying state-of-the-art and scalable machine learning models for various optimization goals such as ads click (pCTR), app-install optimization, ROAS optimization, and retention. The individual will research the latest machine learning technologies and industry trends, create prototypes of new ML solutions, and deploy them into production. This role requires analyzing complex problems with massive advertising data, identifying gaps, and proposing and executing technical proposals. Collaboration with internal ML teams (ML platform, ML serving, MLOps) is essential to improve Samsung’s codebase and product health. Additionally, the position involves working with cross-functional partner teams globally to deliver new ML features and solutions and achieve business objectives. Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance is also a key responsibility.
