About The Position

MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE Company: Samsung Electronics America Inc. Position Title: Professional III, B2B Sales Management Location: New York, NY Job ID: SAM9667049 Position Responsibilities: Build knowledge of internal products and pricing methodologies to understand business needs and be able to make recommendations. Responsible for end-to-end management and support of assigned sales group. Execute pricing knowledge with review and approval of media plans via OMS system and execute complex pricing calculations. Oversee the creation and maintenance of internal company rate cards, which includes analysis of customer spending and market trends to make recommendations on product pricing changes and strategy. Communicate changes in pricing across the organization, which includes creation of quarterly emails and distribution of incentive programs to drive revenue. Work with internal Sales teams on pricing exception requests by providing support in the form of revenue reporting, analyzing revenue and deal pricing reviews to make recommendations. Partner with Sales Leads to create specialized client specific rate cards on an ad hoc basis. Support maintenance of processes related to pricing and make good/added value approvals. Maintain the KPI management tools to understand business margin drivers and work closely with Yield Management and Data team on recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or as a Financial Analyst, Media Manager, or another related occupation.
  • Must have two years of experience in the following skills: (1) managing a business portfolio, pricing, or financial analytics, and end-to-end management in the media, finance, or investment banking industry; (2) experience in financial modelling and deal valuation analysis; and (3) working directly with sales or functional leaders as a finance business partner to support key business decision making processes.
  • Must have one year of experience in the following skills: (4) experience in corporate finance to support P&L management; and (5) experience in developing and executing financial strategy.
  • Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week.
  • Hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week.
  • Salary Range: $145,000/year to $165,000/year
