About The Position
Wag Hotels is seeking hard-working, self-motivated, and passionate dog lovers to join their professional behind-the-scenes squad as a Groomer. This role involves providing a full range of grooming services, from nail trims and baths to full-service hair cutting, as well as luxury spa services. The position requires completing bathing services, including baths, brush-outs, de-matting, drying, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and anal gland expression, as well as cutting and styling fur. Groomers are responsible for keeping the bathing salon clean and organized, exploring new concepts and trends in the industry, and working as a team to create a fun learning environment. Strong communication skills are essential for customer care and satisfaction. The role requires individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and coat conditions. Groomers play a key role on the team and represent the front line of the business. An ideal candidate is a genuine dog lover with excellent attention to detail, who values teamwork, reliability, and career growth. This is not a desk job and requires staying active.
Requirements
- 1 year Professional Grooming experience is REQUIRED.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
- Mandatory availability on Weekends and Holidays.
- Ability to handle all breeds and sizes of dogs.
- Work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift 50 lbs.
- Must be available to work mornings and afternoons.

Responsibilities
- Completing bathing services offered by Wag Hotels, which include baths, brush-outs, de-matting, drying, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and anal gland expression.
