About The Position

Plans and conducts work that involves using judgment to independently evaluate, select, adapt and modify standard techniques, procedures and criteria. Independently performs most assignments with the instructions of the general results expected. Complete understanding of Plan Production/Project Work Flow. Plans, schedules, conducts and/or coordinates detailed phases of the professional work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope. Acute awareness of schedules, deadlines and manhours required to complete projects and tasks. Responsible for training interns and EITs. Expected to delegate tasks and review the work of others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
  • Effective communication with supervisors, peers, subordinates, clients, other consultants, municipalities, etc.
  • Self-motivated and deadline-sensitive with a can-do attitude.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Technical (design) knowledge.
  • Understanding of project schedules and budgets.
