About The Position

The position involves operating vehicles on public roads, completing designated routes, and assisting with tests that assess how vehicles perform in everyday driving environments.

Requirements

• Previous automotive, vehicle testing, or mapping experience.
• Strong technical skills and confidence using digital tools and testing equipment are essential.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable driving for extended periods.
• Availability to travel to assigned testing locations throughout New York State.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles on public roads according to assigned routes and testing instructions.
• Support vehicle testing activities in real-world driving conditions.
• Operate and interact with digital tools, software, and in-vehicle testing equipment.
• Follow testing procedures and accurately report observations or technical issues.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with all project requirements.
