About The Position

This job oversees the daily operations of all assigned areas. Manages, plans, and organizes all training program functions including program development, training development and team events. Empowers and serves his or her respective teams and builds the program including, planning, coaching, and recruiting. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of teaching/coaching experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • Certification in Automated External Defibrillator (AED) within 30 days of hire.
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet project deadlines, work independently, set priorities, and maintain complete confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in exercise related field
  • A nationally recognized certification such as: USA-Weightlifting, CSCS, or NASM.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of coaching at assigned levels.
  • Enforces all facility policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains and completes all regular in-service training and records required by the applicable sport.
  • Completes paperwork for meets and reports.
  • Communicates athlete’s progress to supervisor and parents.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
