About The Position

Dolphin Transportation Specialists is seeking experienced Professional Chauffeurs and CDL drivers for part-time and full-time driving positions serving Sarasota and Hillsborough counties. Vehicles are normally dispatched from the Sarasota location, with dispatching also handled through Naples, Sarasota, or Miami. The company operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, seven days a week, so schedules vary. Chauffeurs may work morning/afternoon or afternoon/evening shifts, and weekend work is expected. All chauffeurs must work two weekends per month.

The role involves transporting passengers in the company’s fleet of luxury vehicles and interacting with passengers. Chauffeurs also load and unload luggage and follow maps and dispatch instructions. The company serves luxury resorts, colleges and universities, hotels, and cruise ports. Applicants must submit a resume, driver’s license, and current three-year motor vehicle report or driving record for consideration.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of chauffeur experience.
• Must obtain a DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record with no more than 3 points.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and be able to undergo random drug and alcohol tests.
• Ability to adjust to work schedules and business needs.
• Ability to lift luggage.
• Adaptable and flexible, with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Submit a resume, driver’s license, and current three-year motor vehicle report or driving record; out-of-state applicants must provide a driving record from their last state.
