About The Position

This position is for a caregiver position with Happier at Home which is the company providing services to the couple at this address. We are a professional, relationship-driven home care provider serving families throughout the Birmingham Metro area. We deliver personalized, one-on-one, non-medical care that allows clients to remain safely and confidently in their homes. Requirements

18+ with high school diploma/GED or relevant experience.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to this address.
Valid Driver's License and Insurance are a must.
Smartphone proficiency for scheduling and care notes.
Ability to assist with mobility and remain active during shifts.
Clear background screening.

Nice To Haves

Prior caregiver, CNA, HHA, PCA, DSP, or senior care experience preferred.
Dementia or memory care experience is strongly valued.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, dignified support tailored to this couple's care plan, including: Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility support).
Meaningful companionship and engagement.
Meal preparation and nutritional support.
Light housekeeping directly related to client care.
Transportation to appointments or errands (as needed).
Accurate documentation and proactive communication with the care team.
Observing and reporting changes in condition.
Assistance with her nephrostomy tubes (one of the clients may need this).
