About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the course ADM3705A, Section A, titled "La simulation pour l’analytique de gestion", during the Fall 2026 semester at the Telfer School of Management. The course focuses on modeling complex problems using simulations with deterministic and probabilistic elements, providing students with hands-on experience using specialized software for simulation and decision modeling, and developing skills in interpreting results. The course is scheduled for Thursdays from 19:00 to 22:00 and will be delivered in person, though the mode of instruction may change due to health or other reasons. Requirements

  • Must have an MBA or a Master of Science (preferably a doctorate).
  • Must have recent professional experience directly related to the use of business analytics.
  • Must have teaching experience, preferably in the subject area of the course.
  • Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
  • Must be a regular part-time professor.

Responsibilities

  • Model complex problems with simulations that include deterministic and probabilistic elements.
  • Provide students with practical experience in modeling simulation and decision problems using specialized software.

  • Deliver the course in person, with the possibility of changes to the mode of instruction.
  • Adhere to the hiring process governed by the current APTPUO collective agreements.
