About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the course ADM3713C, Création d'une nouvelle entreprise, during the Fall 2026 academic period at the Telfer School of Management. The course focuses on ideation, business modeling, validation, and the planning process for launching a new venture, including market evaluation, marketing plans, and human, material, organizational, and financial resource planning. Student projects will involve developing a business idea into a full business plan, including idea creation, business model development, validation, and writing the plan. The course is scheduled to be taught in person on Tuesdays from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The mode of instruction may change due to health or other reasons. Requirements

  • Must have an MBA or a Master's degree (preferably a Doctorate) in a field related to the entrepreneurship process.
  • Must demonstrate recent professional experience in the course's subject area.
  • Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
  • Must apply using their worker profile in Workday if currently an active employee of the University of Ottawa.

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate degree in a field related to the entrepreneurship process is preferred.
  • Competence in a second language (Passive).

Responsibilities

  • Teach the course Création d'une nouvelle entreprise (ADM3713C).
  • Guide students through the process of developing a business idea into a full business plan.
  • Evaluate market, marketing plans, and financial resources.
  • Oversee student projects related to business ideation, modeling, validation, and planning.
