About The Position

The University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor for the course MBA5500B00 - Analyse descriptive des données during the Fall 2026 semester. This course focuses on data analysis and presentation procedures, covering basic statistical concepts such as measures of central tendency, variability, and relative standing. It also includes frequency tables, histograms, data synthesis (location and dispersion measures), data visualization, and probability distributions (binomial, Poisson, and normal). The course will be offered online (live synchronous).

Requirements

A Master's degree directly related to the course field and demonstrated experience in the course field; OR a Canadian Bachelor's degree or its international equivalent and a professional designation (including, but not limited to: CPA, CFA, PMI, CMC, CRHA, CHE) including management or substantial professional training.
Demonstrated experience (normally 5 years) in management and leadership responsibilities and career progression; OR exceptionally, subject to program director approval, substantial management or professional training.
Demonstrated experience (normally 10 years) in management and leadership responsibilities and career progression.

Nice To Haves

Competence in French is required as the language of instruction is French.
Passive competence in a second language.

Responsibilities

Teach the course "Analyse descriptive des données" (MBA5500B00).
Conduct data analysis and presentation procedures.
