About The Position
This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the French grammar course FLS2513, Section A00, during the Fall 2026 semester at the Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute (OLBI) of the Faculty of Arts. The course focuses on sentence structure, verb tenses, prepositions, conjunctions, and paragraph articulation, with an expected enrollment of 30 students. The course will be delivered in person.
Requirements
- Master's degree in French as a Second Language didactics or a relevant field for teaching French as a Second Language.
- Two years of experience teaching FLS at the university level, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with software and technology relevant to teaching French as a Second Language courses.
- Any professor who taught an FLS/ESL course at OLBI before January 1, 2018, is considered to meet the educational requirement.
Responsibilities
- Teach French grammar to second-language students at an intermediate level.
- Deliver the course in person.
- Adhere to the course description focusing on sentence structure, verb tenses, prepositions, conjunctions, and paragraph articulation.
