A clean-room/contamination control background is a plus, but not necessary. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic who want to establish a career with an industry leader in a growing market.

Requirements

  • Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read a limited number of two‑three‑syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
  • Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Frequently required to stand.
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Clean-room/contamination control background is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Sort articles by item and material type.
  • Gown in clean-room garments with a minimum of a hood, coverall, boots and gloves.
  • Follow best practices for clean-room environments.
  • Weigh articles, load articles into washer, start washer.
  • Remove clean, wet articles from washer and place them into dryers for measured time cycles.
  • Turn/right articles as necessary in preparation of packaging. Inspect for damage.
  • Mend torn/damaged articles as necessary.
  • Bundle/package articles to in accordance with work order requirements.
