About The Position

Set up, run, and monitor production machinery to create products while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The role calls for reliability, attention to detail, willingness to learn and improve, and teamwork. Work takes place in a factory environment with concrete floors that may be noisy, dusty, odorous, and extremely hot. The work involves standing, bending, and repetitive two-handed motions.

Requirements

Ability to understand and operate various types of mechanical equipment.
Ability to stand for long periods during 8–12-hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to read and interpret written instructions and use basic computer skills.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, for measurements and calculations.
Strong verbal communication skills for reporting malfunctions and collaborating with the team.
Reliability, attention to detail, willingness to learn and improve, and ability to work as a team player.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot production machinery to ensure optimal efficiency and speed.
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
Load, unload, and feed raw materials into machinery.
Perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance checks.
Accurately record production data, daily equipment check sheets, and hourly production time logs.
Follow PPE requirements, OSHA regulations, and company procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
