About The Position

Reporting to the Supervisor, the Production Worker is responsible for processing food products. This position involves repetitive work with a need for speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. You will be required to work in different areas of the department performing a variety of production related activities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of food safety (to be tested)
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
  • Demonstrated recent satisfactory performance and attendance

Responsibilities

  • Cutting turkey into primal cuts for further cutting, deboning meat, cutting meat into specific cuts for as per customer requirements
  • Pack, label, and box/store cut product
  • Rework product as needed
  • Maintain good manufacturing practices as related to hygiene, allergen handling and temperature control
  • Perform pre-shift set-up, mid-shift cleaning and post-shift take down duties as required
  • Other duties as assigned
