About The Position

Tindall Corporation is a leading Precast Concrete Manufacturer with locations throughout the Southeastern U.S. The company's mission is to support customers, create remarkable structures, and deliver innovative solutions. The Production Worker is responsible for placing steel, strand, and concrete in the bed as necessary for the production of concrete members, and for stripping and cleaning the bed for the next pour.

Requirements

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment and the production of high-quality products.
Receive instructions, roll torches, steel and tool buggies to bed and unload.
Uncover bed, remove sided forms if applicable, detentions’ bed, remove bulkheads, remove block outs and cutbacks with railroad bar, clean and oil bed.
Lay out rebar, plates, loops, channel and insulations, etc.
Pull strand, threading bulkheads, block outs, frames and dead man, and; cut strand with grinder and place chucks on ends.
Place and tie rebar, loops, stem and flange wire, chair flange wire, and place form and side plates.
Prepare for pour – blow out bed with air hose and receive pouring tools.
Receive concrete, hook up air hoses, spread and vibrate concrete with spud vibrator, vibra trak, or vibrating screed.
Place insulation and C ties in bed, if applicable, scrape rails, sweep up excess concrete around bed, collect all tools and materials, and put them away in tool chest or return to warehouse.
