About The Position

The Production Worker in the Prep, Wire, and Paint Department is responsible for supporting key phases of the trailer manufacturing process. Duties include wiring trailer frames, preparing and painting surfaces, and assembling various trailer components. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Wire trailer frames for internal electrical systems Use Oxygen/acetylene torches and hand tools to create wiring passageways Grind weld imperfections to ensure smooth surfaces Clean and prep trailer surfaces for paint by removing oil, debris and residue Paint trailers using spraying tools within a controlled paint booth Install trailer components including tail lights, connectors, battery boxes, and more Consistently meet high quality and control standards throughout the production process Work in a fast paced environment with a focus on safety and quality Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency Learn and become proficient in other production roles, stepping in to assist other team members as necessary Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, ensuring a safe work environment at all times

Requirements

  • Experience with oxygen and acetylene torches, 4” grinders, general hand tools, and painting equipment (electrostatic or similar systems)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Physical ability to be on feet for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Team-oriented, professional, and eager to contribute to a positive work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow all safety rules

Responsibilities
