About The Position
PABCO® Gypsum, a division of PABCO® Building Products LLC, has provided quality gypsum board products and service for over 35 years. PABCO® Gypsum supplies a complete line of gypsum products for commercial and residential construction. Here at our Las Vegas location, we make Gypsum Wallboard. Your job as a Production Worker is to help manage and operate our machines to manufacture the finished product.
Requirements
- Ability to work a rotating shift and regular attendance is required
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Previous Manufacturing Experience
Responsibilities
- Complete entry level training (basic production skills, inspections and learning product and equipment terminology)
- Assists in housekeeping duties
- Occasionally operates forklift (conduct pre-use inspections, adjusting or switching different fork types)
- Provides extra help during equipment failures
- Assists with “maintenance down days” and startup of production line procedures
- Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected
