Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience in industrial manufacturing.
  • Offer highest level of innovation and problem-solving skills.
  • Use verbal skills to transfer information to operators, maintenance, and management.
  • Complete reports such as production, quality, and inventory legibly.
  • Proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios.
  • Experience with internal manufacturing systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand, kneel/stoop, and walk for the duration of the shift.
  • Requires good hand/eye/foot coordination.
  • Vision: 20/20 corrected; and normal hearing range.
  • Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment (cold in winter months and hot in the summer months).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with 6s and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 compliance.
  • Experience with internal manufacturing systems for reporting production, scrap, and inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all Plant Safety Rules and Regulations.
  • Utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Produce continuous quality parts and ensure all quality procedures are followed.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Complete Manufacturing/Quality documents.
  • Communicate internally concerning deviations or general requests.
  • Assist in 6s and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Verify compliance to local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Complete environmental reports as necessary internally.
  • Independently operate machines, equipment, and produce production parts to required tolerances.
  • Read and comprehend customer specification sheets; anticipate the next order and stage supplies/products as needed.
  • Install plugs, capseals, rings, and other specified parts or materials.
  • Utilize various hand tools (e.g., air guns, plug wrenches, capseal tools) safely and efficiently while maintaining production flow speed.
  • Demonstrate acceptable capabilities in all areas of the Plant during General Labor Rotation.
  • Report any conditions of concern regarding products, materials, or safety immediately to Production Manager, SHEQ, or Plant Manager.
  • Utilize Company systems for reporting production, scrap, inventory, etc.
  • Follow direction and meet required product quantities.
  • Maintain working area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
  • Attend all required meetings and trainings.
  • Perform all other duties as required or requested.
