Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Prior experience in industrial manufacturing.
Offer highest level of innovation and problem-solving skills.
Use verbal skills to transfer information to operators, maintenance, and management.
Complete reports such as production, quality, and inventory legibly.
Proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios.
Experience with internal manufacturing systems.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed throughout the shift.
Ability to stand, kneel/stoop, and walk for the duration of the shift.
Requires good hand/eye/foot coordination.
Vision: 20/20 corrected; and normal hearing range.
Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment (cold in winter months and hot in the summer months).

Nice To Haves

Experience with 6s and lean manufacturing practices.
Experience with ISO 9001 compliance.
Experience with internal manufacturing systems for reporting production, scrap, and inventory.

Responsibilities

Follow all Plant Safety Rules and Regulations.
Utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Produce continuous quality parts and ensure all quality procedures are followed.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
Complete Manufacturing/Quality documents.
Communicate internally concerning deviations or general requests.
Assist in 6s and lean manufacturing practices.
Verify compliance to local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
Complete environmental reports as necessary internally.
Independently operate machines, equipment, and produce production parts to required tolerances.
Read and comprehend customer specification sheets; anticipate the next order and stage supplies/products as needed.
Install plugs, capseals, rings, and other specified parts or materials.
Utilize various hand tools (e.g., air guns, plug wrenches, capseal tools) safely and efficiently while maintaining production flow speed.
Demonstrate acceptable capabilities in all areas of the Plant during General Labor Rotation.
Report any conditions of concern regarding products, materials, or safety immediately to Production Manager, SHEQ, or Plant Manager.
Utilize Company systems for reporting production, scrap, inventory, etc.
Follow direction and meet required product quantities.
Maintain working area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
Attend all required meetings and trainings.
Perform all other duties as required or requested.
