Requirements

Must be reliable and punctual.
Ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Highly flexible and ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong work ethic with a high regard for accuracy and quality.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work on the weekend (Friday-Sunday), either 4am-4pm or 4pm-4am.
Requires successful completion of a clear background check.
Steel Toed Safety Shoes are required.

Nice To Haves

First Aid, Forklift and/or Food Safety certifications are an asset.

Responsibilities

Preparation of raw materials including chopping.
Completion of pre-assembly work is not limited to stock assembly lines, set up belts, cut open boxes.
Application of labels, collection of materials, assembling materials into packages/product cartons.
Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
Ensure that the plant cleanliness is maintained throughout the day.
Wrapping skids up to 7ft high.
Operate pallet jack to move skids.
Assemble/Disassemble equipment as required.
Cleaning scales (requires bending/strenuous work).
Sanitation of equipment and work area as assigned.
Other tasks as assigned by Operations Manager and/or Production Supervisor.
