Food Production Worker Summary The Production Worker supports daily manufacturing operations by assisting with the preparation, movement, and handling of products in a food production environment. This role includes operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, and performing sanitation duties to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient workplace. Team members must be flexible, safety-focused, and willing to assist where needed.

Requirements

• No previous experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to assist in different areas as needed.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed based on production demands.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Must successfully pass a background check and rapid drug screen.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to work in cold environments such as coolers and freezers
• Ability to work safely around food allergens including chocolate, wheat, dairy, eggs, and tree nuts

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production, handling, and movement of products within the facility
• Operate production equipment and machinery as assigned
• Inspect products and materials to ensure quality and compliance with standards
• Load and unload racks, containers, and materials
• Move products in and out of coolers, freezers, and storage areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
• Follow all safety, food quality, and company policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Cleaning and sanitation tasks such as sweeping, mopping, wiping down equipment, and removing trash.
