About The Position

Izzio Bakery, located in Louisville and Thornton, Colorado, is a growing artisan bakery. With our rapid expansion, we’re bringing new members into our bakery family! We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our production team in various roles including Oven Operator, Line Worker, Packer, and Sanitation Worker.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, manipulate, or transport objects up to 50 lbs. Frequent lift/pull/push more than 50lbs mechanical or team assisted.
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment such as pans, tubs, bins, mixing bowls, and other industrial equipment.
  • Ability to work for extended periods in environments with airborne flour dust, extreme heat, loud and continuous noise.
  • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-energy setting near hot areas, steam exhaust ports, high-traffic areas, fast-moving powered industrial trucks, and other employees.
  • Ability to work from ladders and lifts.
  • Ability to lean over work surfaces while bending at the waist for extended periods.
  • Ability to work near, around, over, and under fixed equipment and machinery, including conveyor belts and other moving parts.
  • Ability to simultaneously operate multiple controls and machinery.
  • Ability to perform detailed tasks requiring manual dexterity while using sharp tools.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to all safety protocols and standards.
  • Minimum of 6 months of work experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Oven Operator: Organize racks to ensure bread is baked to perfection, keep the oven area tidy, clean proofing boards, sweep the oven area to prevent flour buildup, assist in production by resetting proofing boards, and help with loading and unloading bread.
  • Line Worker: Properly arrange shaped dough on boards and trays, organize carts, boards, and trays to meet production timelines, assist in the dough process, clean the work area between different types of dough, and contribute to daily cleaning and maintenance of the production area.
  • Packer: Pack bread and baked goods in specific configurations, label products, pack items into bags or boxes, ensure accurate product count in each box, and verify that all packed products meet quality standards.
  • Sanitation Worker: Clean and sanitize all areas and equipment in the facility in compliance with company hygiene policies, GMP, and safety requirements.
