About The Position

This is a part-time production worker position with entry-level pay starting at $18.00/hr, plus a shift differential for nights and weekends. The role involves various production tasks, including potentially kitting, inventory management, and material transport. The worker will be responsible for understanding and executing work orders, collaborating with departments to meet quotas, adhering to safety guidelines, and maintaining a clean work area. Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
Troubleshoot problems and report issues
Must work well in team environment
Based on department, may be required to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

Kitting process
Maintain inventory counts of nuts, bolts, screws, metal, lumber, etc.
Transport product, parts, and materials by using forklift, pallet jack, or crane
Understand and execute work orders provided by VSA’s, VSL’s or VSM’s
Work supportively with the appropriate departments to meet quotas and goals
Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
Follow all shop orders and blueprints
Able to use basic hand tools and read tape measure
Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
