About The Position

This is a part-time production worker position with night shifts. Entry-level pay starts at $18.00/hr plus a shift differential. The role involves various production tasks including kitting, crating, bolt-up, inventory maintenance, and material transport using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. The position requires understanding and executing work orders, collaborating with departments to meet goals, adhering to safety guidelines, and following shop orders and blueprints. Maintaining a clean work area and upholding company core values are also essential. Additional duties may be assigned based on location and product line.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions.
Troubleshoot problems and report issues.
Must work well in a team environment.
Based on department, may be required to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

Kitting, crating, and/or bolt-up process.
Maintain inventory counts of nuts, bolts, screws, metal, lumber, etc.
Transport product, parts, and materials using a forklift, pallet jack, or crane.
Understand and execute work orders provided by production leaders.
Work supportively with the appropriate departments to meet quotas and goals.
Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
Follow all shop orders and blueprints.
Use basic hand tools and read a tape measure.
Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space.
