About The Position
Opus Packaging is a premier packaging company and supplier of corrugated products. We are currently searching for Production Workers for our Caledonia, MI location. If you have experience or the desire to learn, we want to talk to you! We offer a competitive salary that is based on specific industry and machine knowledge and experience. As a Production Worker for Opus Packaging you can expect to produce corrugated or chip packaging products for our customers in coherence with promoting the corporate vision, mission statement, and core values.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.
- Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in warehouse or packaging environment.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to properly use and understand the required measurement equipment including tape measures, micrometers, and other tools as required by specific jobs.
Responsibilities
- Produce corrugated or chip packaging products for customers.
- Understand machine set-up, machine runs, plant data entry, handwork, or assembly assignments.
