Production Worker (Rotating Shifts)
About The Position
Kingsford Manufacturing in Springfield, OR manufactures charcoal briquettes for the West Coast, fulfilling the mission to provide sustainable and trusted grilling products that bring people together. The team is composed of individuals who possess advanced technical skills, are dedicated to process improvement, and have a passion for the product and the plant. The Production Worker is responsible for the processing, manufacture, packaging, storage, and distribution of charcoal briquettes. The role principally works in briquetting (process) and duties may include unloading bulk raw materials from rail cars, movement of materials across the work site, housekeeping and organization, and filling in for roles such as dryer tending, bulldozer, forklift driver, quality lab, packaging & shipping.
Requirements

- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Processing, manufacture, packaging, storage and distribution of charcoal briquettes.
- Unloading bulk raw materials from rail cars.
- Movement of materials across the work site.
- Housekeeping and organization, both in the interior and exterior plant environment.
- Filling in for roles such as dryer tending, bulldozer, forklift driver, quality lab, packaging & shipping.
