About The Position
Allen Harim production associates perform a variety of tasks routinely that require manual product handling and possibly the use of hand tools, knives, machinery and equipment. This work demands good hand-eye coordination and upper extremity motor skills and may require the use of some or all body parts and muscle groups.
Requirements
- Previous poultry experience a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow instruction in verbal and written form
Responsibilities
- Supports Allen Harim’s mission, vision and values
- Must be able to continuous standing for long periods of time
- Employee must be able to work in cold and hot environments of varying degrees.
- Responsible for carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling product or objects varying from 2 ounces to 40 pounds.
- Responsible for wearing, using and maintaining personal protective equipment
- Must be able to continuously extend, flex and grasp using hands and arms
- Employee must be able to maintain a variety of repetitive hand and arm movements
- Responsible for ensuring the proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow instruction in verbal and written form
- Other duties as assigned
