About The Position

Champion Home Builders is seeking to hire a Production Worker with General Construction Trim and woodworking experience to join their team in the Burleson Texas plant. This role involves working on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team, performing quality work in a fast-paced and consistent manner. The position requires performing all manual labor in the assigned area, working with a team to build roofs in a production setting, keeping the work area neat and clean, reading and using a tape measure, reading blueprints and orders, communicating well with coworkers, and using hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.

Requirements

• Less than high school education; or up to six-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have general construction experience and knowledge
• Must have a strong work ethic
• Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
• Must understand safety procedures
• Must have good teamwork skills
• Must live the Champion Operating Principles

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.
