About The Position

Champion Home Builder, Inc. is seeking a Tape and Texture Wall Production Worker to join their team at the Mansfield, Texas Plant. This role involves working on the production line to build manufactured housing, specifically applying drywall finishing skills to the interior of homes. The position requires a high degree of quality in applying mud for first and second coats, flexibility to perform other duties, and the ability to work well in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be highly productive, motivated, punctual with good attendance, and pay close attention to safety and quality. Reading blueprints and orders, and communicating well with coworkers are also essential.

Requirements

Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have a strong work ethic.
Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically.
Must understand safety procedures.
Must have good teamwork skills.
Must live the Champion Operating Principles.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.

Responsibilities

Apply mud on 1st and 2nd coats with a high degree of quality.
