About The Position
This is a temporary position for a Production Worker on the Paint Line, working the 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday. There is potential for full-time hire with benefits. The role involves supplying or holding materials or tools, cleaning work areas and equipment, operating machinery, recording inspected products, loading and unloading materials, and counting to determine order completion.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificate and/or industrial experience.
- Mechanical ability.
- Reading various dimensional mythology instruments.
- Production & Processing: knowledge or raw materials, production processes, and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operators of any malfunctions.
- Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
- Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
- Mark or tag identification on parts.
- Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
- Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, cleaning work areas and equipment, and cleaning of doors and frame components.
- Clean and lubricate equipment.
- Record information such as the number of products inspected, and dates and times of product production.
- Other assigned tasks at direction of Supervision.
