About The Position

Nature's World, a Charlie's Produce company, is seeking a Production Associate for its production team. This employee-owned business, founded in 1987, specializes in premium dried fruit, nuts, trail mixes, candies, and other snacks. The company operates out of Seattle, WA. As a Production Associate, you will assist with the operation of production lines for snack food items, including dehydrated fruit, produce, nuts, and other snack foods. Please note that nut dust is present in the air and is a possible inhalant. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

Successful completion of application process
Must be able to pass drug screen
Has good personal hygiene practices
Must have reliable form of transportation
Must be flexible / dependable to work on days scheduled
Ability to follow directions and quickly transition
Basic math skills and ability to adjust and read weight scales
Able to work in fast paced work environment
Able to work with a small team
Able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs cases often
Must be able to stand for long lengths of time 8 hours
The ability to stop production if they feel there is a safety hazard.
Ability to safely work with and around nuts.

Responsibilities

Assist with the operation of the production line(s) of individual snack food items.
Packaging
Operate Mixer
Running the label machine
Refilling labels
Adjustments of rails
Adjustments of head heights
Label placement on tubs
Label corrections
Train new employees on GMP's, sanitation duties, mixing, production duties, and labeling
Additional tasks as they are assigned
