About The Position

Nature's World, a Charlie's Produce company, is an employee-owned and operated business that has been delivering premium dried fruit, nuts, trail mixes, candies, and other snacks since January of 1987. Operating out of Seattle, WA, the company is seeking a Production Associate for its Nature World production team. Charlie's Produce is a wholesale produce company and the largest privately owned produce wholesaler on the West Coast. Requirements

Successful completion of application process
Must be able to pass drug screen
Has good personal hygiene practices
Must have reliable form of transportation
Must be flexible / dependable to work on days scheduled
Ability to follow directions and quickly transition
Basic math skills and ability to adjust and read weight scales
Able to work in fast paced work environment
Able to work with a small team
Able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs cases often
Must be able to stand for long lengths of time (8 hours)
The ability to stop production if they feel there is a safety hazard.
Ability to safely work with and around nuts.

Responsibilities

Assist with the operation of the production line(s) of individual snack food items.
Operate Mixer
Run the label machine
Refill labels
Make adjustments to rails
Make adjustments to head heights
Perform label placement on tubs
Perform label corrections
Train new employees on GMP's, sanitation duties, mixing, production duties, and labeling
Perform additional tasks as assigned
