About The Position

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking to hire a Production Work-General Construction to join their team in the Leesville, LA region. Champion has been a leader in the manufactured housing industry for decades and is one of the largest mobile and modular home builders in North America. They offer various factory-built solutions, including single-family and multi-family homes, as well as commercial and government buildings. Requirements

  • Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to read a tape measurer accurately.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.
