About The Position

HireNow Staffing is recruiting an experienced Production Worker III for an onsite dairy production operation in Bellevue, Washington. This is a hands-on processing position for someone who already has experience operating pasteurization or dairy processing equipment and understands the importance of food safety, sanitation, accurate batching, and consistent production. This position begins as a contractor assignment with the opportunity to convert to permanent employment after approximately 90 days. Candidates hired permanently must join the onsite union.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • With a Pasteurizer's License: At least 6–12 months of experience operating pasteurization or dairy processing equipment.
  • Without a Pasteurizer's License: At least 12 months of experience operating pasteurization or dairy processing equipment.
  • Previous pallet jack and forklift experience.
  • Ability to accurately follow recipes, measurements, SOPs, and processing instructions.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to stand and walk for nearly the entire workday.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and workplace safety.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required.
  • Must be able to work either the assigned swing or grave shift and accommodate overtime when required.
  • Must understand this is an onsite 90-day temp-to-perm opportunity and that permanent employees must join the onsite union.

Nice To Haves

  • Current Pasteurizer's License
  • Strong dairy manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with CIP sanitation systems
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting processing equipment or analyzing production-performance data
  • Ability to explain what dairy equipment they have operated, what products/processes they supported, and how they maintained food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Closely monitor dairy production processes while following established SOPs for batching and processing.
  • Operate and clean processing equipment.
  • Monitor product specifications.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation.
  • Help the operation maximize quality and throughput while minimizing downtime.
  • Monitor fats, total solids, allergens, and other critical processing measurements.
  • Perform CIP and manual equipment cleaning.
  • Analyze process and equipment performance information to identify problems and improve production.
  • Communicate with production teams, other departments, and management when issues could affect efficiency, food safety, or product quality.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable Federal and State requirements, company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food-safety requirements, safe-work practices, and 5S standards.
