About The Position

Westeck is seeking Production Worker II candidates to join their team in manufacturing high-quality windows and doors. This role involves preparing materials, assembling products, operating machinery, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe work environment. Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
Comfortable using basic measuring tools (ruler, tape measure, calipers, etc.)
Ability to work independently, while contributing to a positive team environment

Nice To Haves

Experience working in manufacturing, production, assembly, construction, warehousing, or another hands-on environment
Previous experience operating production equipment
Experience reading production drawings or specifications
Forklift certification
First aid certification

Responsibilities

Prepare materials and components for production using work orders and specifications
Assemble windows and doors that meet quality and productivity standards
Operate manufacturing equipment, hand tools, and production machinery safely and effectively
Measure, inspect, and verify components throughout the production process
Identify and resolve minor production issues while minimizing waste
Rotate between workstations and support multiple production areas as required
Perform quality inspections before products move to the next stage of production
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Contribute ideas that improve quality, safety, and efficiency
