About The Position

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking to hire a Production Worker to join their team in the Double Springs, AL region. This is a non-exempt position under general supervision, where the worker will be part of a team on the production line to build manufactured housing in a fast-paced and consistent manner. Requirements

• Must have a strong work ethic
• Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
• Must understand safety procedures
• Must have good teamwork skills
• Must live the Champion Operating Principles
• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
• Keeps area neat and clean.
• Read and use a tape measure
• Read blue prints and orders
• Communicate well with coworkers
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools
