About The Position

Champion Home Builder, Inc is seeking to hire a Production Worker with ROOF BUILD experience to join their team in the Burleson Texas plant. Champion has served as a leader in the manufactured housing industry and one of the largest mobile and modular home builders in North America. They offer many factory-built solutions, from single-family and multi-family homes to commercial and government buildings. Under general supervision, this role involves working on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team, performing quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner. The position requires performing all manual labor in the assigned area, working with a team to build roofs in a production setting, keeping the area neat and clean, reading and using a tape measure, reading blueprints and orders, communicating well with coworkers, and using hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.

Must understand safety procedures
Must have good teamwork skills
Must live the Champion Operating Principles
Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.
Must have general construction / Roofing knowledge
Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.
