About The Position

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking to hire a Production Worker - Welder/Fabricator to join their team in the Laurinburg, NC manufacturing facility. This role involves working on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team, performing quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner. Requirements

Mig/Arc Welding experience required.
Some fabrication/design skills/experience required.
Must have a strong work ethic.
Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically.
Must understand safety procedures.
Must have good teamwork skills.
Must live the Champion Operating Principles.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
Keeps area neat and clean.
Reads and uses a tape measure.
Reads blueprints and orders.
Communicates well with coworkers.
Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.
May be required to travel if needed to work on frames that are hauling our homes.
