About The Position

Some of the industries served include plastics, laser, heat treating, food processing, machine tool, plating, anodizing, chemical, die casting, optical coating, and printing.

Purpose The General Production Worker performs general shop duties to support the build of Heat Transfer Products.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Accurately interpret measuring equipment
• Understand safety regulations and protocols
• Must be legally able to work in the United States
• Must have a positive attitude and foster a continuous improvement environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with power tools preferred

Responsibilities

• Work safely in a fast-paced environment
• Assemble frames and other assemblies using detailed drawings
• Grind, sand, and clean steel fabrications
• Prepare fabrications for paint using sanding equipment and solvents
• Effectively build skids, crates to specifications provided
• Package material to prevent damage during transit
• Clean, insulate, and label product per specifications and work instructions
