About The Position

Champion Home Builders is seeking to hire a Production Worker with General Construction experience to join their team in the Burleson Texas plant. This role involves working on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team, performing quality work in a fast-paced and consistent manner. The position requires performing all manual labor in the assigned area, working with a team to build roofs in a production setting, keeping the work area neat and clean, reading and using a tape measure, reading blueprints and orders, communicating well with coworkers, and using hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.

Requirements

• Must have a strong work ethic
• Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
• Must understand safety procedures
• Must have good teamwork skills
• Must live the Champion Operating Principles
• Less than high school education; or up to six-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have general construction experience and knowledge
• Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.
