About The Position

Ready For a Tasty New Challenge? This role involves working in a production/packaging area, picking, packing, sorting, and packaging fresh products. You will be responsible for inspecting filled packages, working closely with team members to ensure product quality, and assisting machine operators and other crew members with assigned duties. Additionally, you may assist the sanitation crew with maintaining the cleanliness of production equipment and the work area, and ensuring all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in general labour, production or shipping / recieving role
• Strong people skills—approachable, a good listener, and empathetic
• Ability to maintain a clean and sanitized work area
• Work in a safe and conscientious manner
• Dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues
• Digest constructive feedback as an opportunity to listen, and improve your skills, abilities, and performance
• Listens to comprehend a situation first, asking questions to clarify understanding, instead of listening to be able to reply quickly
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Physically capable of performing demands of the positions
• Flexible availability during both weekends and weekdays

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, sort, and package fresh products into bags and boxes
• Work in production/packaging area to make and stack boxes onto pallets
• Inspect filled packages to ensure product is packaged according to specifications.
• Work closely with production team members to ensure product quality
• Assist machine operators/mixers/oven captains and crew with other duties as assigned.
• May assist sanitation crew in the cleanliness of production equipment and area
• Ensure all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed
