Production Worker - General
About The Position
Champion Modular, Inc. is hiring a Production Worker in Strattanville, Pennsylvania. Under general supervision, this role works as part of a production-line team to build manufactured housing and complete quality work in a fast-moving, consistent manner. The role involves manual labor in the assigned area and following safety procedures. The typical schedule is 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; the schedule may vary with production needs, and occasional changes or overtime may be required, though overtime is kept to a minimum. Applicants must be able to pass a 7-panel drug screen.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of related experience or training.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a 7-panel drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in manufacturing or modular housing is desired but not required.
- One-year certificate from a college or technical school, 6–12 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor in the assigned production area.
