About The Position

A production worker in the finishing department may be assigned various tasks including flipping product on production lines, stain paint collection and disposal, material handling, buffer maintenance, inspection, and sanding of product. Other duties may be assigned by a team leader or supervisor. The available shifts are Monday-Thursday, 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have corrected hearing to listen to needs and instructions of managers and coworkers and listen to the environment to be aware of surroundings.
  • Must have corrected vision to be aware of surroundings and locations of items needed.
  • Stand and walk up to ten hours per day on concrete surfaces while loading and stacking cabinets in the factory.
  • Physically carry and transport items long distances up to ten hours a day.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and transport material in accordance with the requirements listed in the matrices below, frequently and repetitively for up to ten hours a day.
  • Frequently bend, stoop, reach grasps, twist, push, and pull items which range in accordance with the requirements listed in the matrices below.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with management and coworkers by phone or in-person.
  • Must be mentally altered and capable of remembering oral instructions and routine tasks.
  • Must be able to withstand fluctuations in temperature and environmental fluctuations.
  • Must be able to work the required daily and weekly work hours as determined by the schedule.
  • Good attendance and punctuality are necessary.
  • Must exemplify through appearance and behavior the company’s image of excellence.
  • Must be alert and able to identify and respond to a hazard by either reporting it immediately, or by taking corrective measures if directed.

Responsibilities

  • Work in various areas assigned by team leader or supervisor.
  • Maintain constant flow of products.
  • Supply the sufficient number of parts established by the schedule.
  • Inspect component parts prior to working on them and again after they have been painted or stained.
