Responsible for completing production work in a timely manner with acceptable quality. This role requires maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area, adhering to OSHA requirements and safety regulations. The Production Worker 2 must maintain production levels according to set norms, reporting progress and any issues to the Shift/Area Supervisor. They are also responsible for maintaining machines and tools in their designated work area, performing work according to established procedures, and completing necessary documentation. Punctuality for shifts and return from breaks is essential. The role involves ensuring accurate job setups through first-piece inspections with QC and performing tenth-piece inspections. Monitoring product quality to ensure it is always acceptable and notifying the supervisor of sub-standard quality is crucial. The personal productivity expectation is 65% of established norms with 100% quality. Additional duties as deemed necessary may be assigned. The role may require frequently lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Additional hours, if needed, are mandatory.
