About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our team in a fast-paced fab shop environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in MIG welding and capable of reading blueprints and technical drawings to produce high-quality metal components. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work area.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a production welder in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in MIG welding
• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings
• Familiarity with metal fabrication tools including grinders, plasma cutters, and press brakes
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to weld quality and consistency
• Ability to stand, lift, and work in a physically demanding shop environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team-oriented attitude

Nice To Haves

• TIG or stick welding experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, or welding on metal components in a production fab shop environment
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
• Set up and operate welding equipment, fixtures, and related fab shop machinery
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
• Grind, clean, and finish welded assemblies as required for production standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety protocols
• Collaborate with production team members to meet daily output and delivery goals
